Kenny Spring is leading the way in the use of electronic conveyancing in the region, with clients enjoying the many benefits of digital settlements.

From 1 July 2018 electronic conveyancing (eConveyancing) will continue to replace many of the paper and manual processes involved in property transactions with secure online processes, with the following additional matter types required to be completed electronically:

•          Lodgement of caveats; and,

•          Standalone transfers.

The transition to eConveyancing is mandated by the NSW Government via the Office of the Registrar General in NSW which already requires all refinances and standalone mortgages to be completed electronically.

The eConveyancing platform is managed by Property Exchange Australia (PEXA), currently the only Electronic Lodgement Network Operator (ELNO), and new features and updates are regularly being added which improve and expedite property transactions online.

The team at Kenny Spring Solicitors is PEXA registered, and can handle all your property and eConveyencing matters.

Further, From 1 July 2018 purchasers of properties that carry tax liabilities will be required to remit GST to the ATO in an attempt by the government to stop developers from avoiding their tax liabilities.

Please feel free to contact our expert team on 1800 650 656 if you any questions, or would like to arrange an appointment.
