It's been a tough couple of years, life as we know it has changed.  Thankfully, technology has improved the way many industries conduct business and even encouraged new found efficiencies. Our firm has always invested in technology, which has seen us continue through the challenges of COVID to provide the efficient and personal service which we pride ourselves on, and which our clients deserve.  It also enables us to seamlessly act for vendors and purchasers all over New South Wales.

If you live outside of Bathurst, Oberon, or Lithgow, how do we work with you throughout the sale or purchase process?

Zoom meetings: this way of meeting with clients has been useful both in and out of lockdown.  Where partners are unable to attend our office at the same time, one can zoom in.  Where clients are located in Sydney, Scone, or other parts of New South Wales or even living overseas, a zoom link allows us to "meet" you and interact while we provide our advice and to go through the documentation.  It also enables us to witness documents where needed.

Signing of contracts and documents: we are able to send documents to you for electronic signing.  It is a simple process that we will walk you through if you are unfamiliar.  Banks are also adopting electronic signing for loan documents, which has in turn assisted in expediting their turnaround times for settlements.

Verification of identity: with electronic conveyancing mandatory in New South Wales, it is a requirement that we verify your identity.  We use a virtual VOI service which means you can verify your identity from your lounge room in as little as two minutes.  Give it a try and see how quickly you can verify yours!

Our property team can assist you with your NSW conveyancing needs, wherever you are located.  Call our experienced Property Law Team on (02) 6331 2911.  We are here to help, and are humanising legal services!
