Our services are professional, confidential and personal. Your
matter will be handled by one of our partners or a qualified solicitor
who is assisted by other nominated members of the firm. In each
instance, we would like you to meet the individuals who will be
working on your matter.
We will conduct your matter in accordance with The
Law Society's Statement of Ethics.
We Want To Keep You Informed
Once we have received your instructions we will keep you informed
on the progress of your matter on a regular basis. Also, as the
need arises, we will forward copies of relevant correspondence and
documents to you.
At any time, please feel free to call our office and discuss any
matter with one of our solicitors. If he or she is unavailable,
their assistant will arrange a suitable time for your call to be
returned.
During our initial discussion with you we will introduce you to
the staff you can contact whenever you require information.
The Cost of the Service
Conveyancing, Mortgages and Wills
At the start of the transaction we will tell you exactly what our
fees will be. We are also able to introduce you to a number of major
lending institutions so that you will have access to competitive
loan products.
Company, Commercial, Litigation, and Probate
Fees are based upon the professional time required to handle your
matter. We will advise on the hourly rate to be charged and provide
an estimate of costs and expenses for a matter.
Consultation
No fees are charged for initial consultations.
Out-of-pocket Expenses
We generally require these to be paid in advance in all matters
except personal injury cases or where alternative arrangements can
be discussed with one of our Lawyers.
Trust Account
It is the policy of this firm to pay all money received (other than
funds in payment of an already rendered account) into our Trust
Account. This account is viewed regularly by the Law Society of
New South Wales and is subject to the stringent controls of the
Legal Profession Act and Regulations. A substantial part of our
computer facility is devoted to monitoring the Trust Account.
